Teen Discoveries is a year-long course for 7th grade students. This course is designed to prepare students for the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social changes that characterize adolescence. Special emphasis is placed on the relationships between the students and their families, friends and acquaintances. Topics include personal, family, and peer relationships; food; clothing; consumer issues; child development; housing; technology; and career exploration.
